We are currently at the height of the Keanussance, as this year has seen actor Keanu Reeves do just about everything from kicking ass in John Wick 3, to voicing a stuntman collectable in Toy Story 4. Everyone wants a piece of Reeves, but it seems that Marvel Studios has wanted to work with the actor for a long time.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was asked in an interview with comicbook.com whether he has ever considered casting Reeves in the MCU, to which he replied that the studio tries to “talk to him for almost every film we make.”

He continued by saying, “I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”

There hasn’t been much talk of what’s to come in the MCU post-Endgame, but Scarlett Johansson is currently filming her solo Black Widow film, and there are sequels for Black Panther and Doctor Strange in the pipeline. As well as this the Eternals film is in development, with Angelina Jolie set to star, and interestingly enough Reeves has been rumoured to be in talks for a key role in that – so perhaps we’ll be seeing Keanu in the MCU sooner than we thought.
