Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of Avengers: Endgame, this year’s $2.76 billion earner, (and possibly the highest grossing film of all time now) have revealed that they are officially going to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con – and will be hosting a panel centring on their own AGBO Studios.
The panel will be happening on Friday July 19th, in Hall H, where the duo will be reflecting on Endgame, as well as revealing to fans what’s in store with their indie studio, which “finances filmed projects in any medium, while keeping creative control within the hands of artists.”
It will be moderated by Collider’s editor-in-chief, Steven Weintraub.
Deadline is also reporting that some form of Avengers reunion might well take place at SDCC, suggesting that some of the cast members may show up at the AGBO panel on Friday, or the Marvel panel on Saturday as a kind of goodbye to fans. Perhaps they may mirror SDCC 2010, where the original Avengers cast – Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, and Clark Gregg – were introduced to fans as a group for the first time on stage.
More on SDCC when we have it.
